Used to do a lot of radiation hydrodynamics in a past life. It's the vorticity of a flow field.

From a book title on a shelf

My Ancestry is Norwegian. My Great Aunt
was a teacher and had a shelf with books I
could read and one book title was The
Norseman.

I could relate more to Norwegian side of the
family than my German side, even though
both of my Grandpa’s being Farmers, were
the nicest, kindest, gentleman one could have.
The Grandma’s held everything together.

Years later I got the chance to train with
Norwegian Soldiers. We all just got along
good. They were good natured, polite,
very smart, just ordinary people, and
reminded me maybe of what meeting
Vikings would be like, not all were killers.

One friend teases me that I came from
Norwegian Nobility. So I thought it was
a fitting user name.

I defined Hand Ejector decades ago as:
"The finest device ever devised by man for slinging a bullet with one hand."

Feel free to disagree. This is America and you have the right to be wrong. ;)

So the rumors are true . . .

OV
Not sure about the rumors, but when stationed at Pease AFB, my First Sgt was escorting a new 'butter bar' around the squadron. I was on top of an FB-111A installing a new part when those two walked up on top. The 'butter bar' was around 5'4" and I stood 6'4". When introduced, the 'butter bar' looked me up and down and said, "your new name is Tiny". That was around 1983.

Last I knew, he was a Major and one h3ll of an officer.
