That's what I was thinking. The 'thank you' note alone was above and beyond what we see these days, something like the gifted dog food is an almost unheard of gesture coming from strangers. Sure, Mrs. Barnes baked me a pie for the snake removal call, but she is a family acquaintance and likely would have baked me a pie for hardly any reason at all.
I'm gonna go way out on a limb and say these kids probably had pretty good upbringing.

Daisy needs her own reality TV show on Animal Planet. She and Randy easily have enough adventures to fill a 30 minute show weekly. Daisy and the Black Mamba, Daisy to the rescue, Daisy kidnapped, Faulkner’s first snake call of the season, etc. etc.

I think we've missed the good weather window for a return trip until temps cool off in the fall.
Love it! I can see your pals grinning over this. It's clear they know what kind of man you are and what matters to you. I'd welcome you and Daisy as my friends anytime and anywhere.
