Haband mail order company
Can anyone tell me how the merchandise from this company normally is? I know they have been around for many many years, I have seen their adds. I got a add in the mail for their usual stuff, and a lambskin leather jacket (for $32.99) that seems like a unusually low price. It looks like a good casual leather jacket if the quality is anything at all.
You know, us seniors have to save a penny wherever we can (so we can afford to buy those pre-war S&W's).

Not a bad price, but I assume you zoomed in and looked at the leather closely. It's NOT single large panels it's made up of small pieces of lambskin sewn together. I believe that detracts from quality, appearance and value. JMO

On saving bucks for clothing, check out Goodwill, Salvation Army, or other thrift shops. I have gotten some great deals there. E.g., cashmere sweaters that retail for a coupla hundred bucks for ~ $10. Well worth keeping your eye on what's available as a lot of the stuff is in great shape.

I think I've heard enough to forget them.

I think it boils down to you get what you pay for. Low prices mean low quality, however often lower quality will fill the bill 0K, for what you are going to use the item. I've used Haband, Blair and 0rchard ( Same company ) for years. Had some order problems of wrong size shipped, etc., but returned them for prompt refunds. 0ver all I think I got my monies worth. Ed.

I like John Blair of Warren,Pa. for mail order clothing-I have had many good transactions with them.
