Yes, the original "most interesting man..." had about three seconds of screen time in "The Shootist". Just enough time to get shot in the head by John Wayne. In this interview he talks about that, Gunsmoke, and other most interesting stuff. There was only one James Bond. Sean Connery. And there's only one most interesting dude. This guy.

Great story, Wyatt...since I watch very little commercial TV I am just barely familiar with this ad campaign, but it has been a good one in the midst of so many bad ones. How could you not like a guy like this?

Thanks for sharing...

Best Regards, Les

I have seen the new commercials and was a little disappointed.
Did something happen to Mr. Goldsmith? Is he still with us? Did he just retire?

More confusing "doubles."

They both (bearded one in Paths of Glory) aint Vic Morrow.
Rod Cameron and Robert Ryan--two more to me-that greatly look alike.

I don't know this for fact but heard that the most interesting man was also killed in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Also, as far as look alikes, in the second picture of Ringos', the tall one in the peaked cap next to the "Father" looks a lot like Nicholas Cage.

I couldnt find the exact images I wanted-but he's Ralph Meeker-who even sounds like Vic Morrow-to me.
