Multi State Road Trip: Alabama to South Dakota
In a few weeks I'll be leaving the Heart of Dixie, driving to South Dakota. I'll be driving a church group for a mission trip.
I've done some research and believe that I will be ok carrying while on this trip. All of the States I'll be going through seem to be gun friendly.
I'm just wondering if any of you have any pointers ,gun related or otherwise, like stuff to see, places to eat, etc. I plan on spending the night somewhere around Springfield Mo.
Thanks in advance

In Springfield is the mothership of BassPro shops. Inside is the NRA firearms museum. Well worth the stop and its free. Y'all be careful and have a blessed trip!

Can't help you as have not been that far North. Chances R is a great place to eat in York, NE if your route takes you that way. The old hotel and cafe is great in Basset, NE also. Winner, SD is a nice town also.

I agree, I went through the NRA firearms museum there just a few weeks ago and it was well worth the stop. For the church group, even those not interested in the firearms museum will enjoy a stroll through the Springfield Bass Pro shop just to see all the stuffed animals.

Have a safe journey and great success with the mission trip. You're a good man to devote you time and energy.

I'm coming from Alabama, not Georgia, but I have checked our reciprocity; it seems that Nebraska is the only state that doesn't reciprocate with us, but their laws seem to be simple enough and I think that I should be alright while there. I hope.
I don't walk around advertising to the world that I'm carrying but it's good to know what to expect just in case.
Thanks All

Please make your vehicle is up to the task.
Church groups traveling out West have a sad history of crashing and burning!
