Question The Ringo Kid thread brings me to this. Text Mail Subscriber.

I know that service is legit according to a friend of mines son-who is a tech junkie. However, anyone know how big of a scam that is??

If this has to do with the possible catfish attempt....trust no one and nothing unless you meet in person over coffee

Everything I find in Google about text mail subscriber leads me to believe it is a scam or that it is used primarily by scammers.

I think it would be wise to immediately delete any such message.

The reason im asking, is all of a sudden-and I dont know why? because ive not joined anything, im getting "contacts" from a site I quit-and there have been requests for texts messages. My text feature is broken on my current phone-so I cant do anything anyway However, I googled a few numbers-and some names matched-while others didnt..
