Now this is something new......and could be fun...would you take the bait??
I am also an SASS member and found this listing in the classified section....may have to give this a try someday, a very cool "Mystery" game.

Ok, since you brought this to us you have to update what was in the box when it's revealed.
I'm intrigued now.

If I had the money, yeah, I'd take the bait. Hard to imagine he's scamming if he posts his photo on a forum in which he's apparently fairly well known. Plus he lives in Montana, a state not known for a high population of con men.
Be interesting to see what's in the box.

If it is a BP "gun" why does it have to go to a FFL??
anyway, I like this guys reply.
Tell ya what if Crabby doesn't take it after all let me know, I will. I'll put a check in the mail to you for some amount; could be $5 or could be $5K; you'll know when you open the envelope I'll email you an FFL copy and we'll both ship 2 day priority tomorrow, deal?
I always wondered why selling online why someone has to send the money first? You trust the seller to send the gun.
Why not have the seller send the gun and trust you to send the money??
Just because you have a USPS Money order doen't mean squat.

I wouldn't do it.
Not because I suspect a scam. But heck. It might have a couple of Taurus (Tauri?) in it. Or a Beretta Neo. Or a Glock. Or any of a few dozen firearms that I, personally, would not want to own.
And he wants me to pay 700 bucks for it, without knowing what it is?
Some people are foolish.

If I knew the manufacturer of the gun I would at least be tempted......
The SASS guns can be all over the map, assuming that it is something to do with SASS that is.

I'd tend to guess something relating to SASS. Perhaps an Old Model Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Colt? Worth "more than $700"? Surely not a Colt? A Smith Schofield? Nah, no way, right? It's fun to speculate.
