Got a letter and a request for a survey from Vereran’s Memorial Program, Portland , OR.
The survey starts out asking more info than I would want to give.
Then it goes hard over ‘End Game.’
Funeral, cremation, arrangements, plans, do you want some pre-planning?
When I googled who they, this is what I got -
What is the Veteran Memorial Program?
“The VMP partners with trusted, veteran-friendly funeral homes in communities across the country to ensure correct and helpful information about Veteran Funeral Benefits is available and shared.
Many veterans don’t know that honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces are entitled to FREE burial or cremation interment at a National Cemetery as well as other funeral services worth up to $7,000 per person? “
I already got a Tombstone with my name on it up in Indiana.
If you haven’t seen your name on a tombstone, you haven’t done quite everything!
As best another sales pitch, worse case possibly a scam trying to take advantage of us Vets.
