Fourm brother Misswired was gracious enough to send my son a box full of incredibly cool and touching gifts—nice knives, autographed hats from professional fisherman, old yo-yo's, super nice arrowheads, spear points, nice book on hunting trophy whitetails, hand-fabricated metal tavern puzzle, beautiful old hunting prints, etc.

Simply a wonderful, kind gesture beyond measure. We have been so busy we actually got up at 5 this morning to open everything and go through the box with the attention it deserved.

I have to say , I don't get to meet but a few of you face to face . But I do have dealings with quite a few of you . Everyone has been more than helpful , and goes overboard to help a fellow member . And there are no stupid questions . I think the rest of the world would be a better place if we treated each other like we do here .
 
That fishing hat is signed by Matt & Jordan Lee( Jordan is the 2017/2018 Bassmaster Classic Champion)((Cullman boys))..... I remember these two young whipper-snappers when they were knee-high to a grasshopper throwing rocks at the Lake George boat ramp......

Recently...... another hometown boy, Jessie Wiggins has placed third in the 2019 Bassmaster Classic......

My dad always said: "if you want to fish..... N. Alabama is where you wanna be."

Sorry about misspelling your name Jesse.... it won't happen again!

Don't let that smile fool you..... finally spotted the Applegate/Fairbairn covert folder (my favorite carry knife).....closest to his left hand behind the limb saw..... the prize of the box.....I've sharpened several to a doubled edge......this is a rare survivor that should never be sharpened to double edged!!!!

I agree. A group of fine gentlemen here decided my first born boy needed a model 17 so they chipped in, bought it, and one of those fine k-frame lovers drove it down to me from Northern California. Luckily, he now resides in the free state of Idaho. Maybe he'll even set aside a half acre for me and my family someday...:)
