Ray Donovan cancelled
I will miss this series. I saw that the network decided to make the last aired show the finale. It would have been hard to tie up all the loose ends, but all the characters were well played.

First season was enough for me. Lord, if I never hear that woman whine "Raaaaaayyyyy!" again . . . . Anyhow, sorry you'll miss it, but it sure is better than having them do a rotten wrap-up (as with the most recent Star Wars movie, for instance) or letting it go on like a zombie for too many seasons (as with Weeds, which should have ended when they burned the entire neighborhood down).

Liked the first two seasons but
then it seemed like the story
line was always being stretched
and stretched to fill episodes.
I thought Liev Schreiber was
excellent as the malicious
Hollywood fixer.
The other actors were very good
as well but I found it hard to care
one way or another about their
fates.

I attempted to watch Ray Donovan. Sort of like the several episodes of Breaking Bad or Longmire that I watched, something was missing. Maybe they all lacked good writing and an interesting story.

Best performance I ever saw John Voigt in. If you hate the character, and love the actor, they are delivering top-notch goods.

Yeah, I never could get into Ray Donovan either, but I know what it's like to have a favorite show end suddenly with storylines still hanging. Take heart, cougar, there's always the chance there'll be a movie one day that will bring your show to its deserved resolutions. Think "Deadwood," for instance -- which, much as I have looked forward to it, I still haven't seen yet.
