Those Orion slave girls.....

He might as well. Seeing as how he is a red shirt he won't make it back to the ship anyway.

You never know. Leslie was a redshirt in a number of positions: helm, security, engineering, transporter operator and was killed by the gas cloud in Obsession(McCoy:he's dead) but apparently was brought back from the dead. He appeared in 60 episodes more than both Sulu and Chekov.

No, definitely green. I'm just wondering why it didn't kill her, like here?

Well if you want to get into painted characters.
Buddy Ebsen (Jed Clampett) was originally cast as the Tin Woodsman in the original "Wizard of OZ". However, it turned out that he was allergic to the silver make up and had to turn it down.

Virginia Hey, who played the character Zhaan on Farscape had to quit after two seasons because they found the the blue make up she wore was causing some very serious health issues.

Default Ok, Susan Oliver

Though I have to admit that Yvonne Craig is my favorite, Susan Oliver made a pretty good Orion Green Girl:

In the movie (and the book) they said that they left her butt unpainted, "which allowed her skin to breathe". When they killed her, they painted her entire body - butt included - so her skin could not breathe and she suffocated.

The green slave girl is wearing clothing which covers her butt. Obviously they did not paint that which is why she did not die.

Batgirl Yvonne Craig Remembers Her Days On Adam West Batman Show

When they made her up originally, she had her eyes closed and was unaware until afterwards they had shaved her eyebrows. She was irate. IF THEY DON'T GROW BACK I'LL SUE!!

Spock was walking by, stopped and told her: "Yvonne, I hear your concern. But when I first started this show I went to a dermatologist, and he assured me that anyone who can grow a beard to grow his eyebrows back."

Then he walked away.

I can't find this article to link to it, but sometime back I read an interview with her where she announced, BATMAN FELT ME UP.

There was a scene where Batman was standing behind her, and while looking off in the distance he set his hand on her shoulder and made one of his speeches.

What Adam West did not notice (most likely because he was in the zone) was that she turned around when the scene started. And his hand did not land on her shoulder. So she stood there while he was making his speech, until CUUUTT!!

In the Burt Ward(Robin) book he mentions one show where he, Batman, and Batgirl were all woven together in "human Chinese handcuffs". Batgirl was fondling him where the camera didn't see and he was trying to not get excited, but he found out later that it wasn't Batgirl it was Batman clowning around!

Anyone know what the Starship Enterprise and toilet paper have in common?

They both circle Uranus and pick off Klingons.

As a person who is "folically challenged" (bald headed) I have a natural affinity for this lady. She makes it look GOOOOD.

Her name is Persis Khambatta she played in the Star Trek the Movie. it was her movie debut. Her characters name was Lt. Ilia. Some women can be beautiful even without hair. Sadly she passed away in 1998.

The second pic is her with hair. I also saw her in Night Haws with Sylvester Stallone Billy Dee Williams and Rutger Hauer. She played a terrorist and not as pretty the way they had her made up in this one. She did a good job with the role though.
