Lucas love?
Lucas gets it’s share of hate but I have a 1962 IH British tractor with a Lucas electrical system. Not one component, except for plugs, points and condenser, have ever been changed. Everything still functions as it should. Pretty good for sixty-two years.
Having said that, I thought this was funny.

I suspect that is what is wrong with my MG Midget.
On the flip side, from spring 1966 to summer of 1970, my daily driver was a 1965 AH Sprite, including Iowa winters. Never had a Lucas problem. Was one of the most dependable cars I ever owned.

It's quite simple. Brian doesn't want the fire department to waste time looking for the hydrant or digging it out of the snow if his or his neighbor's house happens to be on fire.

Brian is a photo of a homely looking kid and apparently is used in pop culture across the social web to state the obvious as in "Don't be like Brian ___________."
Most children are under peer pressure and avoid association with the unattractive/awkward kid in the room. Thus, Brian is that example and widely used.
However, the post in question is a sarcastic play on that theme.
Take all of this with a grain of salt.
Meet Brian...
Don't Be Like Brian!

💡 I was wondering about "Brian" too. Another similar name-meme would be "Karen".
I'm no "Brian" but I do clear the snow in front of the mailboxes with my tractor for the benefit of our mail carrier
