Oh swell. Never trusted GPS and have always had at least one compass in my saddle bags or pocket when I head into the back country. I guess I'm sunk now.

April fools story, but geomagnetic reversal is real. It's happened throughout earths history and will happen again.

Duh! You just put the compass in the forest. When moss starts to grow on it, that's the north side.

If you take the battery out of your compass and put it back in backwards it corrects the pole reversing issue.

This is not a joke. Some time back handejector explained that we have mined all of the Earth's etherium for use in satellites and its loss is accelerating the north-south pole flip. Moreover, that's the whole point of the Green New Deal, to replenish the planet's etherium. Ask Lee Jarrett. He knows things.
