I arrived at full "codgerness" today. I wear bifocals (of course). I had gone to  FedEx this morning. While waiting  to be served, I took my glasses off and hung them in my shirt opening because I was getting annoying "mask fog". I see well enough to maneuver through the shipping process until it comes to reading. When the clerk asked me to verify the addresses on her little screen, I reached up to retrieve my glasses from my shirt top..... NOT THERE !! -- $#@!&#%@!......I tell the clerk I can't read a thing without my glasses as I am patting myself down and looking around to see if I had laid them on the counter. She then asks me .....  "Are they different from the ones you are wearing ?"

I was complaining to the nice lady at my Walmart optical department about mask lens fog. She told me about Optiplus which are disposable cloths which you wipe on the lenses and they prevent fogging for at least a day. They are cheap and actually work.

I bought some spray off amazon that was called Antifog. It turned out to be pretty much useless. Guess I'll have to visit Wal Mart.

I was told if you wash your glasses with Dawn they won't fog up, I haven't tried it yet.

I tried going without glasses and just using +2 readers, but I needed one pair to see something on the shelf, another pair to be able to read print, a magnifier to read the small print, and sun glasses outdoors. After trying to carry 3 pair of glasses I just agve up and continued to wear the Tri-focals I have been wearing since I was 16 years old. Just wasn't worth the hassle.

I guess that makes me a full codger then. Do we get a membership card, or what?

Here you go . . . .
