Funny stuff-see post #16 for not so funny stuff
I've got a cat named "Pud" If anyone remembers the old Opus catroons and the character "Bill the cat" well that is who Pud reminds you of. DOesn't give a **** about anything, just does his thing and is absolutely hilarious to watch. He was yoo lazy to move one day and my wife backed over him breaking his leg and dislocating his tail. Over a year of confinement and he healed. He has a dead tail and a little limp but is good to go. Spends time at the neighbor's when the food is better-one weekend he would up in another neighbor's camper for a nice vacation and showed up back home Monday. He comes running when he hears his name called and sits and meows at you when he gets pissed or wants something. Will leave mice with the head chewed off on the porch for momma. Has gotten dive bombed by the birds in the back yard and has on several times come home with beak holes in his back.
A few weeks ago he came down with a lung infection and the wife has been giving him medicine by syringe into the mouth which pisses him off. Now she has decided to use a nebulizer and albuterol to clear it up. She puts him in his little kitty transport kennel, drapes a sheet over it and shoves the nebulizer in and for 10 minutes "tents the cat" as I call it! It looks like a gas chamber and I give her grief about it . Cat hates it but it is really helping with the breathing.
Anyway to the point of the story. Last night the cat is letting her know how not pleased he is with the tenting making all kinds of racket. She lets him out. Cat walkes into the middle of the room looks at her and then proceeds to poop on the floor with a big look on his face! I am absolutely in stitches.
I love that cat!!!

Now that made me Laugh-Out-Loud............. gotta love how cats have a way of letting you know what they don't like.

As a cat subject, (you're never their owner), I got a big laugh. Fortunately our little one (7 1/2 lbs 5 years old) is all about sucking up to get the good canned fish & chicken, grilled in gravy.

That is a good one Caj. They know how to communicate. Years ago went on a 2 week hunting trip to Alaska, left Bucky @ home with a neighbor kid to look after him. Kid did a poor job, Bucky was not happy. As I was putting away gear, Bucky backs right up to the gun safe, looks me in the eye, and sprays down the safe! Glad it was still closed. Poor guy.

I'm sure that Pud got some satisfaction from his actions, especially if he got to witness her reaction.
Although it worked out well for Pud I wouldn't recommend that you try that to make a point. Pretty sure you wouldn't like the reaction you got.
That was a good story. Here's my "revenge poop" story. Back in the early and mid '80s we had a buff colored cocker spaniel. Beautiful dog but a double hand full. Very stubborn and never liked me much, he was Miss Pam's best friend and guardian.
He always let us know when he needed to go out to take care of business. We had papers down for him in the wash room for emergencies but he rarely used it.
One particularly rainy evening (there were frogs drowning in the back yard) He started scratching on the back door to be let out. But he hated the rain and absolutely would NOT go out in it.
I knew this but I got up (I was laying on my stomach on the floor in front of the tv with the kids) but I got up anyway and he followed me to the back door. When I opened it he turned away and started growling. After a time I went back to my spot on the floor. Again he starts whapping on the back door. Again I get up and open it and again he refuses to go out.
We kept this going a couple more times, I thought he'd reach the point where he'd go out rain or no rain.
WRONG-A-MUNDO
He came over and assumed the position right in front of my face. He looked back at me and once we made eye contact he got his revenge.
Back then I was still a young man and could still move with some speed. I grabbed him and rubbed his face in it. He avoided me for a couple of days but he never did THAT again.

Cats. We left one alone with adequate food and water while we spent an overnight away. When we came home, found that he had raked everything on the bathroom counter into the sink and crapped on top of the pile.
Another one, for no apparent reason, began urinating in the burner pans on the stove top. Of course, we didn't notice until the kitchen was filled in acrid smoke. He had a one-way trip to the vet. I am a patient and forgiving person, but there are things I will not tolerate.

I love cats too. Had them practically my whole life, so I know some of them really love you with all their heart (Sam was my best friend for 18 years), some just want to aggravate you because they think you're keeping them against their will, or something.
Had a beautiful white long hair named Princess. She really was a sweetie pie......... until I brought home two german shepherd pups (brothers). They lived outside, but came in for some lap time on occasion, with all nighters when the temps got into the teens.
Well Princess, decided to suddenly show her disapproval by secretly "spraying" the walls near the washer & dryer. I kept wondering if the dogs had peed there and scolded them for it (while Princess just sat by on her throne gloating.
Then she started spraying my $$$ Kenwood speakers, on my top notch stereo system, and I caught her! We gave her fair warning, and tried all of the "repellants" we could find. She was too full of anger by then and WOULD NOT STOP DESTROYING OUR HOUSE AND ELECTRONICS!
We loved her, but she also got a one way ticket to the vet one weekend. Not out of anger, but desperation. I COULD NOT TAKE ANY MORE OF HER STUBBORNNESS. I'll see you again one day my little princess, and all will be forgiven,........on my side. She'll probably try to pee on me.

Not a cat poop story but a poop story! @ '75 or so my BIL and I were coming back from Dauphin Island fishing rodeo pulling a 244 Chaparell. On the street to my house a dog ran out and we proceeded to run over him, heard him bouncing under the car and boat. Stopped and found him having seizures and obviously mortally injured. owners kids came out crying and upset. Being the dog couldn't make it, I advised mother to take kids into house and I would dispatch the poor thing so as to not prolong his agony. She took kids to house and I got my Lignose Einhand .25 and knelt down and racked the slide, the dog stopped writhing, looked up at me and the gun and jumped up with diarhea streaming and ran off the road! Needless to say, I didn't stick around to hear any congratulations!!

When we moved to central Oregon, some friends of the family gave us a wonderful housewarming gift, an unspayed female cat. Black as sin and tougher than a week old steak. She wasn't very big, a little on the small side. Every once in awhile, we'd come home and she'd be eating a jackrabbit on the porch. Once, I won one of those goldfish in a small bowl at a carnival. Those fish are notorious for living maybe a week or so. I took mine home and put it in a glass brick that had the top cut off it. No rocks, no areator, no castle to hide in, nothing, Just tap water and food and clean the glass brick every couple of weeks. 6-7 months later and the fish is doing fine and actually growing. One day we went to town for supplies and when we came back the fish, which was in it's glass brick on the mantle behind the wood stove is floating upside down. Dead as a doornail. sitting on the hearth is the cat, cleaning itself with an innocent look on her face. Might have bought it if there wasn't wet kitty prints from up on the mantle right to her. My folks were worried I would be upset. It was the first pet that was mine alone. All the other critters were family pets, but the fish was mine. They look at me, I look at them, and I just started busting up laughing. So did they and the cat just kept trying to look innocent. It was funnier than hell. When my mother went to flush the fish. I told her no. I took the fish in my hands, carried it gently to the garage, and placed it lovingly in the cat's food dish. I figured a successful hunt should be rewarded. The cat refused to eat the fish. Just hooked it out of the dish with one claw and ate the dry food. Miss that cat. Would miss the fish too, but he wasn't as funny or badass as that cat.

Bad News. Pud is no more He was getting a bit rough lately, disapearing for days at a time. Monday we got him on the porch. He was dehydrated and was loosing weight. Would not take food. Not looking good. Told the wife we need to take him to the vet-as in I think this may be the time. He did not fight us piutting him in the travel box. When we got in the car my wife gasped and said look! I walked around and there was a rat with his head chewed off next to where my wife gets in the car. We got to the vet and got the news that we were not ready to hear--I was ready to consent but my wife wasn't there yet. We agreed to let the vet give him an IV and maybe that would help. We lweft and yesterday wife got a call that he was doing a bit better. Got the call this morning that Pud had passed away in his sleep. Just as he showed up in our life on his own terms, he left, again on his own terms.
I went out this morning and picked up what was Pud's last offering ot the wife and threw it in the trash can.
I'm gonna miss that &*%^ cat

That's pretty much the definition of how cats operate. I often say to Smudge when trying to figure out what he's up to, "Well, suit yourself. You will anyway- you're a cat."
That's "eight feet in heaven" recently- Porque & Pud. Not good

Sorry to hear that, have lost too many cats (and dogs) over the years. Several of the cats were strays that adopted us and I miss them all. Deepest sympathy for the loss of the old boy

Funny stuff-see post #16 for not so funny stuff
That’s a shame. We had a cat when my kids were growing up that tolerated us,but that was it. She might lie down next to you,but no petting or you’ll get bit! She lived 16 yrs and my grown kids think all cats are *******s lol.
My current one is quite sweet and almost like a dog. My kids have hardly seen her though as she hides when they come over. She knows what they’re thinking

One of our two cats recently started finding strange places to do his business. For years he had always used the litter box, but he began using the shower drain and sometimes in the middle of the living room floor and on the dining room table. I found something on the internet about getting a cat pheremone dispenser. That helped, but now he always seems to be somewhat spaced out and sleeps a lot more than he ever did.
