The Gray Man on Netflix

I read there is a scene on a park bench, where the hero is killing off all sorts of attackers, which cost ~ $40M to film. The production had a monumental budget, and the hope by the producers and Netflix is that it leads to a franchise.

The author of the Gray Man books is also the author of a number of "Tom Clancy" books. The latest Gray man book flips between his early days and then fast forwards to current operations. Personally I do not think that this should be the first to read, go back to his earliest days and then read in sequence. Dave_n

I'll Pass

I started to watch it last night. Familiar plot. Endured it until Agent 4 and Agent 6 started fighting and thought, "Here we go again." Clicked off and enjoyed a TCM movie.

Didn't do it for me. Could have cut about 30 minutes from the movie-very predictible plot and the movie pretty much slogged to the expected conclusion. Shallow stereotylical villains-pretty much a paper cutter action movie. I kept thinking"just pull out your gun and shot the ******** and be done with it already!!"

My wife asked to tell her if she would like it, since she had things to do
when we turned it on.

After watching it, I told her that I gave it one thumbs up and I did not think
it would be her cup of tea.
