I'd pass, but with the sight of it, I would go in the store and buy two, then eat them before anyone saw me.
I just love them....

All I know about slim Jim’s is this. When I moved out of my parents house I had a beautiful 80lb Wiemeranner. He stayed with my dad because they had 17 acres for him to run on. I noticed “Duke” was gaining weight and asked my mother what they were feeding him. She said I give him exactly what you told me to and YOUR FATHER brings a slim Jim home for him every day after work. When Duke passed at the age of 13 he was 101lbs.

I've dug them out from the bottom of my duty bag that were at lest a couple of years old and ate them and I'm still around.

You can be a vegetarian and eat tofu for 3 meals a day, or you can eat slim jims 3 meals a day. The end result is dying only hours apart.
It's all in the genetics.

Hippos are proof that eating salad and walking doesn't make you lose weight. Go for the meat! Enjoy your life while you can! Get some bacon to go with those Slim Jims!

Homeless filet mignon. Pairs nicely with a 2017 Mountain Dew and Funyuns.

Can't say I've ever been tempted to eat something lying on the ground in a parking lot.
Now, Slim Jims displayed next to the cash register at check out... That'll depend upon whether my wife is looking over my shoulder or not.

I really used to like those things.....
.... until they started putting horsehair in them. You know the stuff that when you eat one it's left over and you can chew it and chew it for days but it never gets any smaller?

Man I love those thangs! But great gobbeldy goop they sure have gone up in price. I still bought them when they were $1.69 but now in some convenience stores they are $2.39 (and that's not those big monster ones). I actually remember when they were 10 cents apiece but that was in the 60's. So I'm giving them up. What are they made of anyway??

My grandson LOVES them,, I like them also,, BUT,,,
TWO times I purchased them at Sam's Club,, years apart,,
BOTH times, within two months, they became so hard, they could not be eaten.
They were OK when purchased, and sitting in a cabinet in a 72 degree kitchen wiped them OUT,,
Both times, ~1/2 of the $20 box of them were tossed.

I haven’t eaten any since I was in college. They, along with Beer Nuts and PBR, made up a good part of my caloric intake at the time.

Slim Jims are OK if you are looking to get your blood pressure up and gain weight. BUT, that one is road kill. Never eat road kill. You never know what drove it to run out in the road.

I was driving down the road today and passed an unidentifiable roadkill and a runover grill.
Today's lesson: Take your roadkill home. Do not grill it on the spot. It can ruin a perfectly good grill.

It looks like you could pick it up and the other end has not been chewed on, and you could start from their and stop about 1" from the chewed end.

Anything that lists "mechanically separated chicken " is a pass for me.
I have this visual of a Far Side cartoon of a guy throwing chickens into a wood chipper.
Nope

Road trip!
I have since elevated my jerky selections away from Slim Jims and/or Bahama Mamas, but they are tasty road trip fodder.

Years ago my Dad and nephew were in the game room watching TV.
My Dad said he was hungry. My nephew offered Dad a box(should have been a tip-off) of Slim Jim’s he’d found in the game room.
My Dad was puzzled because he never bought Slim Jim’s.
The box my nephew was noshing on were Puperonis.

You haven't lived until you've had Kabanos (Polish version of a slim jim- without all the preservatives)
And they're shelf stable- like natural salami
