Summit gunbroker
I have been looking for a reasonably priced 4006. I finally found one on summit gunbroker for $400 with one magazine. They're the ones spoken of in a different thread with blue painted grips. The check out process seems a little odd and I've never done any business with this company. Does anybody have any experience with them? Are they a legitimate company or should I continue the search? Thank you in advance for any input given.

I bought more than a few from the previous owner . I used to talk to him once in a while , he knew quite a bit about S&W's . He wouldn't sell to just anyone , I know he vetted this owner frontwards and backwards . But again , I've never bought from this owner .

I bought both a Model 18 and a used police 870 from them. Decent prices, no problem. This was about 20 years ago, so I don't know how they are now, but they were good to deal with back then.

I bought 2 CHP 4006s from the previous owner.
He was a really good guy.
Not sure about the new owner.

I bought a couple fro the previous owner, but it's been a few years. Never a problem. He seemed to always have a "few" nice ones hidden in the vault. I did get a 38/44 Outdoorsman from him with a broken hammer, and included was a replacement hammer. Made a good deal since had a broken part. Took me all of 10 minutes to fix when I got it.
