How to report a scam on Gun Broker
Could any GB sellers on here tell me how to report a scam auction?
I would hate to see someone get burned. I did just speak to the real owner of the gun.

I think if you go under the SUPPORT section you can report an issue.
I filed one a couple years ago and they checked it out when reported.

I found Gunbroker is slow to response in my experience, I detailed my experience here: Gunbroker Is Crazy reply #11.
Recently I just called out the seller directly on this beauty: Just a moment... as it obliviously not the work of the son of a Swiss watch maker.
I also recently recognized this as a fraud Just a moment... as the pictures had been taken from another forum I read which its actual owner was trying to sell it on. The auction ended before they replied to the actual owner, I have no idea if the buyer got burned on it.
Scammers and more and more common on GunBroker it must be a version of whack a mole for their staff.

I have contacted GB several times on misleading ads, and about guns that were visually defective.
One of their darling cash cow gun dealers has posted misleading stuff, and I have called him on it. He blocks me now
Never heard a peep out of them on anything. Somehow I believe, when you bid, you are in it by yourself.

Over the years I've selected large
dealers with prominent internet sites
that provide hours, phone numbers,
contacts. And no credit card extra
fees are charged. Also in looking at
the sites, I like to look at other
offerings by the given dealer. The good
ones provide excellent and extnsive
number of pictures on all their
products. Of yes, the good ones also
point out flaws in the firearms, some of
which are evident in pictures and some not.
Foolproof? Probably not
But I've never been stung.

I agree with Pete. I have notified GB of shady/questionable/outright wrong ads and received no response and the ads were not removed. Either they don't care, don't have knowledgeable staff to police such matters, or a combination of the two.

On the other hand, I have been contacted by GB advising me not to finalize a sale due to suspicious seller activity.
We as buyers must sniff out suspicious situations and not participate in things that seem off balance. It is not wise (these days) to give sellers the benefit of the doubt.
I would not want the job of policing the volume of activity that GB hosts.
The age old advice "caveat emptor" applies - the buyer alone is responsible for assessing the quality or validity of a purchase before buying. And this is doubly hard to do when we find what we think is a really good deal.

Contacting the site is probably about your only option.
Support on that site can be a bit slow, unless you have a gold membership, which gives access to live support.
It is worth reading through their buyer protection program, to understand what is and isn't covered, and the amounts of coverage it provides.

Well I saw today the ad was removed.
I have a gun I had been watching on GI for a few months now. Last night I saw the same gun with identical pictures on GB. A very discounted price also I might ad. I called the original seller and let them know what was up. I wanted to give GB a message that night as it had a buy it now price. There was no way I found to send them a message unless its on a gun your bidding, won or selling.
Also the seller had 6 A+ Feedbacks, I tried looking at them but they wouldn't pop up. The seller was a seller since 10/2017
These scammers are pretty good that they can forge even dates and feedback numbers.
There downfall was ....maybe I will not help them
