Default Devin Williams Truck Driver Mystery

I just watched a YouTube episode on MrBallen. It was about a 1995 unsolved mystery of a truck driver named Devin Williams transporting fresh produce from the west coast to Kansas City. This is one of the few episodes that actually creeps me out. I believe a fellow trucker gave him a stimulant on his break and Devin accidentally overdosed on it.

What is your basis for this "belief"? Of all the "Police reality" episodes I watch I have not seen anything about this case. Is he supposed to be dead, missing?

I don't find the series "Unsolved Mysteries" on Direct TV although that is where this episode is supposed to have been aired based on a 'Net search.

While this would be interesting I am far more disturbed by the large number of homicides of young girls in the 14-20 year age range that are aired on one or another of the multiplicity of "Reality TV" series on a nearly daily basis! More than a few were killed by truck drivers who are serial killers, and others!

They found his skull two years later about a half mile from the truck.

He supposedly called his boss while taking a break at a truck stop. He complained about his lack of sleep and harsh deadline. He went into the truck stop to use the restroom. It’s not to hard to imagine that someone gave him a stimulant while he was in there.

The case of Patrick Carnes is one that creeps me out. 86 year old man and his dog were traveling from Toledo Oh to Elko NV. A highway patrol officer pulled him over for a traffic violation on 04/13/2011. No one’s seen him or his dog since. His car was found I believe the next day 150 miles away with gas and his personal belongings intact. With one set of footprints leading from the car.
His vehicle was found at the same spot where a missing woman’s car was also found years earlier.
I initially heard of this case years ago on the Rollie James show, while driving home late at night on the Pa. Turnpike.
Gave me the heebie-jeebies.

Devins skull was found by two hikers in a well searched area. Maybe authorities should look into the hikers.

Just curious-

Do you have a personal interest in the case? Or just find it interesting?
Those hikers are 28 yrs older than they were then.

Yes and no… cases like this is more interesting to me than the billionth documentary about Ted Bundy. Its also the lack of closure and justice for the victims families bothers me too. The reason I believe the hikers should be looked into in more detail is because they found a clean skull on a trail that was heavily searched. Small details like that can blow the entire thing open.
