Yeah I was watching that one. I thought they had a chance to bring $500 plus tax-ship but as we see they did much better.

I was tempted to bid as they were attractive looking but I find it risky to bid on grips with finger grooves. If they are not a good fit for your hand size you are out of luck.

I would like to own a set of his grips one day to see how I like them.
 
I’d rather have Ken’s moose antler grips. I’m waiting for a “ wonky” set that he prices cheap. Hint Hint
 
I didn't know there was a frame difference between RM and Model 27 frames. Thanks for the tidbit!
They'd look great on any pristine N frame.

The prewar frame is roughly 1/8 inch longer. That is why Bigmtnman lets you know if his grips are fitted to his 1917 or his M 629-1 :D
