Old Reloading Tools

My Lyman 310 tools would probably fit your criteria because I like the steel handled version. My primary turret press is an All American (also Lyman) that came out in the mid ‘60s, IIRC. To me, old generally equates to good.
Froggie
frog,
Lyman #41 1957-1959 shows the All American and calls it the Champion of presses. I could have been out a bit earlier but is not shown in Lyman #40 1955-1956 so if it did it would have had to be late '55 or sometime in '56 after the manual first hit the market . They did a new one every two years during that period and one bought either year would be the same but they did occasionally do update sheets that would nest between the pages of the manual . I have one in one of the manuals I own but don't remember which it is.

Not an old tool but here again...look and sometimes you find an item or two cheap. Went to an estate sale last Friday on the way to my annual eye exam...household items but they had a RCBS powder measure. Large cavity only..I paid the ladies asking price of 10 dollars. Like new too but no box. My wife also got 3 complete sets of Queen size bed sheets for 3 dollars each 2 were packaged still

I happened to find 3 old Herter's carbide sizing dies 38 sp 45 auto and a 44 sp. ...Not like the ones made these days...they have a chunk of carbide in the rings. Paid 10 bicks for all three...and I got a set of carbide RCBS dies in 30 carbine...Paid 20 bucks for the set. don't think they have ever been used...Don't know about RCBS but Dillon carbides are really expensive...garage sale...only shootin stuff they had

I don't shoot a lot anymore so am happy with just making one at a time. These old all-in-one tools do a pretty good job. Just black powder though.
I like that powder dipper. I have few of those home-made ones. My great uncle showed me how to make them in the 80s.
I'm lucky enough to have a friend that does estate sales. Anytime he runs across reloading gear, I get a call. I don't know the age but I have one of those Lyman turret tops, and two single stage presses a Redding and a Pacific. They all seem to be of that vintage and work perfectly.

Was just using my old RCBS A2 to deprime some .303 British brass. Bought it in a box lot out of the back of a gun shop several years back for less than scrap value along with a Freeland stand and some other useful bits I can't recall at the moment.
