Not sure if this is the right place, but I'm looking for feedback or experiences with a gun sales website called Guns.com

A family member is looking at some revolvers there, but I'm not knowledgeable about that site or their history.

Any input about their policies, inspection periods, etc.

Any feedback, good or bad?

Thanks, in advance.

I've completed two sales, they were routine. Both items were what I expected and there were no surprises. The only thing I would change is to use my regular FFL, which is not really their doing. They have their own network which I suppose my guy could join, but I just picked a local pawn shop which was not too big a deal. Just unfamiliar.

I watch their listings and wouldn't have a problem using them again for the right item. The have a reasonable return policy:

I have purchased 4 guns from them this past year. I really like them. In many ways I believe they are superior to Gunbroker. Everything is consistent when you make a purchase. You’re not subject to the different responses and payment policies like sellers on GB have. All of my transactions have been problem free and shipped in a very timely manner. I’ve found on GB not all sellers are created equal! Guns.com is very consistent in my experience.

I think in time they may rival or eclipse GB. They don’t have the sheer volume and variety of guns that GB does but it seems like they are rapidly improving. My only complaint is there is no ability to ask a technical question about a gun you are interested in and the the photos tend to be fewer than GB. You can check out their site to get answers on returns and their policy. I definitely recommend them.

I have purchased 5 guns in past 8 mos or so… the process of actually buying, paying and choosing an ffl is very good. Pics are not always the best mostly due to posting only a few. I’ve not yet had the need to return a gun for any reason so cannot comment on this aspect. Overall if you can find the right gun at right price it’s great!

Bought an "Inland" M1A1 carbine last year. They were responsive and fast. Only problem, it wasn't an Inland, which was the only manufacturer to build the real thing. After some push back and reluctance they did refund. Their prices tend to be high, but if you want it they got it.
