Tornadoes in December

Boxing Day (12/26) 2015 a bunch of tornadoes came down in the NE quadrant of the Dallas area. I believe seven were killed when one twister crossed a freeway in the dark. We arrived at someone's house to be greeted with, "Come inside quick, the shelter in place message just went up on TV". Wind and rain were epic for the next 90 minutes or so.

Blame it on the Covid pandemic.
That is truly sad to see that devastation. The danger is unstoppable. (Elon Musk may have some of his engineers working on that.) Those tornado chasers are crazier than hang gliding or mountain climbing. Let's just hope no more of the injured die.

I'm building a house in Moore, OK which has had two of the most powerful F5 tornadoes in the US in the last several years. My fiance's mother lives there and she wants to stay near her aging mom, but at least they have some butt-kicking tornado sirens. They are so loud many dogs don't even howl, it hurts their ears so bad they try to hide somewhere.
