Default Todays Scam - Free back brace from Medicare

Got phone call telling me that they are sending
a free back brace, that will be paid for by medicare.

#1) I do not need a back brace.
#2) They called me by name of my deceased cat.

I've had a couple of those calls. The first one woke me from a sound sleep. Bad move on their part. I cannot believe they called a second time.

It's not a scam.

I received two foot-long wooden splints
and a huge rubber band in a kit.

My elderly mom would get one of those calls at least once a week for years. They never let up.
