That one vital instruction...
Ever used a product or tried to put together something where the one vital instruction is hidden or expressed in a sort of throwaway manner? Nearly got caught this morning when using a pesticide on my grass. The directions just say (paraphrasing) "Attach to hose, turn on water, spray evenly, don't paint yourself into a corner." Seems like sensible stuff, but...
On another page comes a vital piece of information, "When using the product to treat for grubs, water in after spraying." Yeah, I'd say that is some pretty vital info NOT to have in the directions area, especially as I am spraying for grubs.
It might also explain why treatments in other years were not entirely successful, as immediately after the directions all it says it don't walk on it or allow your pets on it until thoroughly dry. To improve my sense of humor one of two spray bottles wouldn't dispense the insecticide. I had to decant it into the one I'd already used to complete the job.

That ranks right up there with YouTube videos of vehicle repair jobs that skip over some REALLY critical, difficult steps. Some steps aren't obvious until you have progressed past a certain point and then have to put things back together or back on and then figure out the steps that were left out.

This came with a piece equipment for my gf's lab. It's intelligible, more or less...
