Default A curious experience with Gunbroker

Bid on a Browning HP slide, sole bidder, checked back-the listing had disappeared-? My previous 2 experiences were positive, bought some Ciener units, no problems communicating with the sellers.

If you won the bidding and there was no reserve you should have gotten an email from GB congratulating you and giving you a link to go to checkout. Are you sure there was no reserve? Does GB have your contact information?

Did the auction go all the way to the end?
Or did the seller cancel early?
Can they even do that once there is a bid on the gun?

All great questions to answer, except the seller cannot close an auction if there is a bid. They can, however, accept a BUY IT NOW offer even if others are bidding.

Once there is a bid on an item, sellers have very limited actions they can take on it. They can not cancel an item if there are active bids on it.

If a buyer chooses a buy it now option, it will override bidding that is going on.

The buyer's dashboard should have lists of both items you have won, and items you have lost.
