My wife not only killed her cell phone she buried it at sea last week.

Last day of the cruise and she did something and over to Davy Jones Locker it went.

As soon as they got off the cruise ship she found a Spectrum store and purchased a new one. The girl in the office just smiled at her and said we sell a lot that way. Of course the really bad thing was she took a lot of pictures, as this was a Red Hat Cruise.

Samsung offers an app called SmartSwitch also.
So if you have a Samsung phone and get another Samsung phone you can download and run SmartSwitch on both of them and it will not only move all your contacts to your new phone it will move your email accounts and any apps you have installed on the old phone to the new one. It's pretty slick.

I would have had to throw me off the ship.

Missed that one. Must have been distracted by my wife telling me that I’ve seen that Gunsmoke episode before

Like Rusty I have T-Mobile. I get 4 to 5 bars of 5G reception in our house with them. None of my work phones ever got more than 2 bars inside.

Husbands and boy friends were allowed to go on this trip.

Being trapped with a 150 of those overage juvenile delinquents for a week was extremely low on my to-do list. I stayed home and kept what little was left of my sanity!

Well I decided to hedge mybets. My wife almost uses her phone so I checked into the Mint Mobile. Going to set her up on that company to see how it works. Going to buy an unlocked used phone and stick with Verizon till I see how the Mint system works here...Hey 15 dollars a month on there for 3 months should give us an idea

The darker color would be 5G, lighter color 4G, white no service. Hashes on T-Mobile designates roaming. The others do not seem to account for roaming.

FWIW, I picked up a used T-mobile phone at a local thrift store for just a couple of bucks, and activated it on a Mint Mobile plan (which uses the T-mobile network) when I spent a couple of months at my mom's place in AZ. Verizon service in her area really stinks - but T-mobile's coverage is MUCH better.

So, getting unlimited Mint Mobile service (using the T-mobile network) for $15 a month was a real bargain. If you are in an area that gets better coverage on T-mobile than Verizon, that is definitely the way to go.

Well I had to reprt...I paid to have my phone resurrected. I took it to a cell phone repair shop. It wasn't cheep, cheep. But I talked with Verizon and quite a few other carriers and there was no way to save all my info/contacts I had. I an going to make a switch to another carrier. Verizon has gotten super expensive...the sales people don't listen and put all kinds of add-ons into the plan to double the costs without buying new phones. So I paid to fix the phone/save my stuff and I am going to make another decision to ditch Verizon and make it cheaper
