Skechers shoes wear out very quickly. I'm an avid dog walker, about 3 miles per day average and each pair of Skechers I've worn wear out in less than 2 months. Very comfortable before they wear out but not at all durable..

Fred, sorry I'm late in jumping in. We were down visiting the kids yesterday and today. As for Sketchers...you betcha. I had a pair that lasted me for a few years and just recently picked up a new pair of "slip ins." If I remember, they were about a hundred bucks...a little less because they were on sale. But, bottom line...I love 'em. When I'm not wearing cowboy boots, or when I just need to go outside for a minute, I put them on.
I have a pair that is 5 years old......I farm-hunt-walk and wear them to work in the shop and working on equipment.........That pair is still going. Iffen they ever wear out thy will immediately be replaced by another.
These are my daily pavement pounders. They are ridiculously comfy.

Almost broke an ankle wearing them the last time I wore them, which was the second time I had tried them. They were comfortable until then. They are almost new and (you guessed it) in the original box.
Maybe I should place them for sale? Maybe I have a weak ankle.

I use a Samsung step counter for my daily walks. I bought my Skechers in April. To date I have logged over 500 miles in them. The soles and treads are holding up nicely.
When these give up the ghost I will go back for seconds.

That’s my “go-to” but of course they aren’t slip-ins!
