Sketchers shoes?

I hate to be the odd man out here, but I have high arches and wore some for a while resulting in some foot pain / plantar fasciitis flare ups. The pair I had did not have the support I needed. I got some inserts but even then, I would experience pain after wearing them.

Just not the shoe for me. I got New Balance shoes and with the inserts I am good. With all the other comments it is probably my feet not the shoes but thought I would weigh in in case you have high arches.

Never had the slipins. I have had a couple pairs of other Skechers, though. Contrary to most of the others I have found them to be less than comfortable and not very durable. Doubt I'll ever buy another pair.

Of course, I'm a high arch supinator (weight hits primarily on the outside of the foot). So your results may be quite different.

Had a couple pairs and liked the comfort more than the style. But I’ve never been known for my taste in clothes and shoes.

My BIL had a pair.....

I have diabetes. After my wife saw his she suggested I get a pair. Between those and 'bamboo' eco socks I'm a happy camper. I like them so much when I buy a new pair, it's going to be Sketchers. I don't even have to pick up my shoes or use a shoehorn like my other shoes. I just step into them.:)

Switched to skechers bout 3 yrs ago. While am not using the slip ons yet, have been very satisfied with there outdoor sneakers that have a high arch. There very durable, and get bout 2 miles/day on concrete.

They make varying levels of arch support, and am wearing one of the high arch versions that keeps my plantar fasciitis at bay. Very comfortable.

I recently bought a pair of Stretcher GoWalk shoes because they are water repellent. I like them.

They advise you to get the same size as your other shoes, but I believe a half size smaller would've been a better choice for me so I could wear them without socks.:)

I have 3 pair of Sketchers slip on's and they are quite comfortable. Because of that I purchased a pair of Sketchers Sneakers and they are absolutely horrible when walking more than 300 feet. I have relegated them to work around the shop and car shoes.

The slip ons are terrific!

With so many wearing them, answer this. I look at Skechers and the sole at the toes is never touching the ground. With my instability, I see myself falling over nose first. Figment of my imagination?

As for slipping on. I just tie my laces loose on my New Balance shoes. No problem.

I have been wearing OrthoFeet shoes for the past 10 years and their slip ons for around 5 years. I like the look of Skechers and they are a little cheaper than OrthoFeet but while every OrthoFeet shoe comes in all sizes I can find very few {1} Skechers in my size of 13 x wide. OrthoFeet ship fast and are very good about returns. One think to keep in mind about them is that while Amazon has them their website has better prices and sometimes have very good sales which make them as cheap as Skechers.

Have 3 pair, 1 tie pair for serious walking, and two pair for slip on casual walking around. The slip on's are very comfortable, but I don't recommend for other than casual walking. I did find one pair I had to get a half size smaller to fit. I don't think consistently accurate in size, be sure to try on and walk around before buying.
