Default S&W Bicycles

I always knew S&W made bicycles but I knew nothing about them and have never seen one. My sister did a little looking around and found this. A 27 speed gear system, wild front suspension and with what looks like disc brakes. What a monster being sold by a police supply company.

I would be willing to bet a bunch that S&W didn't make it - just a licensing agreement with another company to use their name.

Speaking of monster, I think I'll just stick with my Frankenbike.

I've got one and have had it for quite a few years. It's a bit different then the one pictured above. Says Smith and Wesson all over it, on the bike it says made by TH Industries.

I've had my S&W bike since 2004. On the back cover of the owner's manual, it says Manufactured for and distributed by Cycle Source Group, LLC.

Our PD had a few given to us by S&W. They saw a lot of use by our bike patrol.

Some models were machined and assembled at the factory. I don't remember which ones, but retired SW workers told me they worked on some.
