Default Pit Bull Skull Shavers

I've seen the commercials on TV as many members probably have. Anybody use one? At 79 I don't have much hair. Going out to get a haircut is a real hassle. I don't want to keep a smooth bald head so I wonder if one of these can be used just to keep hair very short without riding over the stubble and not cutting it. Any experiences good or bad?

There's another one advertised that has attachments to cut your hair "by yourself" that might be better for what you're talking about. But, if you want to keep a smooth head, skull shaver may be your ticket.

I have a Pit Bull. Mine isn't adjustable. I run it over my head once a week and it leaves me essentially bald.

In my case I was going bald anyway so it's not that big of a sacrifice and it's much less of a hassle than going to a barbershop for a trim.

I got a Remington clipper on Amazon. The nice thing about it is that it has a built in vacuum to catch the hair. It does in fact catch most of the hair. It comes with a whole set of combs. I just leave the #2 attachment on and cut my hair about every two weeks. It's about 1/4".
