At least it wasn't razed, and they are trying to do something with it. 10MM to get it inhabitable, it would take a lot of tours to cover that nut.

I hope they save it regardless of the current negativity around the product they manufactured. It is really ironic the state is so anti guns when they are so integral to MA history.
 
There is a similar property here in Richmond, maybe not quite as big a house, but 100 acres. It is a city park with the house open for tours, and costs ~$4,000,000 a year to operate and maintain.
As to White Cliffs; I suspect it was originally in multicolored brick and stone with ornamental patterns in the brick to accentuate architectural details. Whoever painted that beautiful old masonry white should be flogged and then made to clean it.
