Palmetto State Armory *** ( EDIT )***

My son purchased one of their AR kits in 5.56 for a little less than $600 .
It didn't take long to put together and is of decent quality for the price.
He's put about 500 rounds through it with no issues and it gives decent accuracy.
He's quite happy with it.

I ordered a CM9 on a Wed., got it the following Monday. It was less than half what they sold for elsewhere. I too watch for their "today only" stuff. I'll deal with them again if I see something I like.

It's a great gun. I have over 300 rds through mine without a hiccup. I use MecGar CZ 75 mags because they fit more tightly (base plate is snug against the lower), although the factory mags work fine and hold 2 more rounds. Joe

I've bought at least a half-dozen guns from PSA, and lots of ammo. They are legit, but rarely they will get overwhelmed with orders on an item while scheduled deliveries to them simultaneously get delayed. In those cases shipping can take a while, but they have never been less than absolutely straight in my dealings with them.

Scored a great AR upper that way last year. Few weeks back I hesitated on the $229 SAR subcompact because I couldn't find any reviews. Been kicking myself ever since.

It all started with a three pack blemish deal....
It was all sweet and innocent at first with a classic build. Then came the 350 legend build, then the 9mm PCC and the classic style pistol.
Then I discovered Bambu Labs PETG CF and PSA parts kits.....
I might need an intervention, but they don't dare

I've bought parts from them to assemble a couple of ARs. Decent quality at a reasonable cost. I also bought a complete AK folder from them. It's really nice. I also bought one of their 5.7 pistols. It's pretty good, but the trigger is a little rough. I've ordered ammo from them a time or two as well. Sometimes the shipping is a bit slow, but other than that no issues ever.

I’ve ordered several times, generally ammo, and one CZ rifle that no one else had in stock when I decided to buy. Their prices have always been good and items have always arrived in reasonable time, in good condition. I have no complaints. I know AR stuff is their main focus. That type of product is something I am not familiar with.

That's good to know. I put 200 rounds through mine with factory mags with no problems. I didn't need it. The only reason I bought it was because it was cheap. I almost bit on their Tisas 1911 for $299.00 but figured I had enough of them already.

It has been 4+ years ago but PSA was great to me. I have spent as least $4000 dollars with them. Most was AR15 uppers and part kits. I would buy from them again.

I've bought from them several times. I've had no issues with any purchases. Everything has worked as advertised. A lot of their stuff isn't gourmet quality but for the most part the quality far surpasses the cost. Telephone contact with them is certainly a challange.

Personally I don't care much for knock-offs, clones and copy's and do not like or buy them. I like to buy a product from the original manufacturer that has earned their good reputation from doing the research & development and has figured it out and fixed all the quirks, short coming and issues. Last but not least, they must have excellent customer service and have a competent staff.

Yea, original design products & prices might be a bit higher however knock-offs usually skimp on quality control, production methods and materials to allow them to sell for less and still make enough profit to stay in business. If you want to cheap-out on a non essential product you might only need once or twice - I get that, however not when it comes to guns and especially when it comes to self defense guns!!!

I also subscribe to the practice of buying quality over quantity resulting in owning less guns but the ones I do own are all fine quality guns by the original company's. While there are some descent knock-offs out there like Tisas, Taurus, and many AR's, I stick to the originals. While knock-offs might be OK for the short term, they have yet to be proven for the long haul. AND..... at the end of the day when they are sold, you will do way better selling a quality Colt 1911 than a Tisas - IMHO of course.

I have not dealt with PSA and most likely never will. It's just not my style, but there are always others looking for a "bargain". I found out many years ago that "bargains" usually wind up causing more grief in the long run.

I should invite you over to our range so you can try some PSA. You'll be in for a treat.

I'll put their PCC up against anyone's...

They routinely offer super bargains from the main line manufacturers.

Very well stated! :)

You do know PSA sells large quantities of “original” manufacturer products?

Have you changed your mind about buying current S&W’s?
