Anybody like these guys?

I made a purchase on the 5th, and the shipping was supposed to be 5 days. Now they are telling me 15 days not counting weekends and holidays. Something tells me they took an order for something not in stock.

Awful hard to get a response from

EDIT: OK, I picked up my Tisas Stingray today. 8 Days in shipping from 100 miles away

They own the AR market in the US and make a good product. I’m not a fan of PSA because while they do have some really good deals at times, that’s all they offer. Their sales people are kids with no knowledge and they are rapidly on the way to close down all the small LGS where you can get some help and knowledge. Will be just like Walmart.

My son built one from PSA, it's exactly what you expect Narragansett, decent AR for the money and work just as good as a high end one. You should be happy, but it may send you down that proverbial rabbit hole too. lol
His sent me on the hunt to have one the best out there and other than fit and finish, I believe they all perform about the same. jmo

Eddie ailed it. They are the Walmart of Gundom.

When it works, dealing with PSA, it works well. When it doesn’t, forget about any form of customer service. At least that’s been my experience.

I bought one of their Vietnan era reproduction AR-15. It looked good. But they put too tall of a front sight base on it (the A frame). The front sight post was just a little nub sticking up. That wasn’t right. So I tried calling. No answer. I tried e-mail, requesting the correct front sight base, I would change it myself, and send the wrong part back. No response. After about a week, I told them I was going to send it back, and wanted a full refund. Now….they want to fix it. By then I was done. That ship sailed a week ago. It’ll be a while before I try to deal with them again.

Epilogue: I eventually got my money back. I bought a real Colt AR-15, SP-1. Those old guns, if you gave them good ammo, at least occasionally, got close to MOA accuracy.

Some time ago they were notorious for slow shipping. I've bought quite a few things from them with no issues and they always stood behind their product. Haven't picked anything up from them for 3 months or so. Last time, shipping was quick.

I have purchased several guns, lowers, uppers, parts, etc from them over the last 5-6 years and never had any issues. They have been a little slower to ship than some other vendors, but that seems to have been better recently. Never had to return anything, so unable to comment on that.

The PSA ARs I've purchased (5.56, .300blk & 9mm) have been very good values. All of them run, and the accuracy of the 5.56 is as good or better than my 2 Colts.

I have used PSA for accessories and ammunition, but not for any firearms...yet. I haven't had problems.
PSA shipping wasn't what I'd consider fast, yet it was accurate and safely packaged. Can't speak to Customer Service because orders just stayed in the automated flow.

Back in the days when ARs or parts were REALLY scarce, PSA somehow had both. Or at least they claimed they did. That they somehow had parts when others didn't made me suspicious. I've never bought anything from them.

There's several grades of parts: meets all specs, blemished (finish issues), just a tad out of spec in non critical areas, just a tad out of spec and scrap. The last category can get relabeled if the scrap dealer realizes that the scrap can be resold as parts.

I ordered a complete lower from them, and it had the Magpul FDE stock on it, not the black one in the pic. A simple email was sent by me. They apologized and sent me a new stock, told me to keep the FDE and gave me 10% off on my next purchase with no limit.
Happy with them. No one is perfect.

Oh, I have bought a few of their “blemished” items and all have been perfect. Best deals are their “today only”.

I've been using them for a while now for much of my AR-15 and AR-10/LR-308 stuff - mostly uppers and lowers. I've stuck with them because of their low prices and frequent sales/closeouts. Been satisfied so far with their products and service and have only had one customer service contact, which they handled quickly and well.

I've bought a lot of stuff from PSA. Uppers, lowers' and parts. Several times they run a special on CCI SV 22LR, I've bought great multitudes of that.

Never had a problem.

PSA are worth watching as they occasionally have fire sales on pretty high end stuff. I think they take in contract overrun stuff for pennies on the dollar and give us some good deals. Years ago I got a new Walther PPS M2 for under $300 after some encouragement from a buddy who loves his. Turned out to be a great purchase.

I( like "em"......Usually every time I'm in Columbia I go by their store. I've bought uppers/lowers/handguns from them with nary a problem.
My night time depredation rifle is a PSA 7.62x39 upper on an AR lower with a honkin big Leupold scope on top and a big flashlight taped to the handguard. I've made some LOONNGG shots with this combo.

Big fan here. Slap togethered 8 or so rifles over the last dozen years, never a problem. Lately they have me broke with “ daily deals.” $159 KelTec P17, $219 “MAPP” 9mm, $219 SAR cm9 a spectacular auto. I ordered the CM9 on Thursday, it was at the pawnshop on Monday. Sometimes they take awhile and I have waited 2 weeks once. Good reliable products at reasonable prices. Don’t expect LWRC AR’s for $500. Joe

I've never had any problems.

My friend bought an AK from them and found that the magwell was out of spec - too tight. Rather than send it back, some drummel work took care of the problem.
