I found this in a junk box at the store yesterday.
This was a "Pachmayr Tactical Pocket Holster" for a Model 36, supposedly to be carried in a pouch pocket as a BUG. This is what it looks like with the gun in it.
It's actually pretty comfortable to fire with the extra weight of the spare cartridges in front. However, its demise was likely caused by two factors:
1. Restricted market - not enough potential customers. Most civilians would have no use for it.
2. Reloading speed (or lack thereof) - getting the spares out of their holders and into the gun is sloooooow. Even a dump pouch would have been much faster.
So... interesting idea, but it goes into the old holster box, probably never to be seen again.
