Axe rifle

Not much anecdotal info on the Axe rifle line. Also not any local dealer availability in Alaska. Are these rifles readily available in your areas? We have Cabelas and Sportsmans Warehouse up here, as well as independent firearms dealers, but they are not carrying the Axe line. My guess is they are still heavily stocked on the other SW AR15 lines, as evidenced by their deep discounting.
I would like to get the Performance Center Axe, but I cannot find any independent reviews or opinions. Any thoughts?

S&W just started production. Go to the product website page and you'll see a "Where to buy" link. I just looked and only one of their recommended sellers shows availability.



Interesting that they're already offering 11.5" and 14.5" variations. I'm suspect that's because of the elimination of the $200 tax next year and possible removal of SBR's from the NFA.

Yeah, that's a bit over the top for me when I can build one just as reliable and accurate for less, for my uses.

I have a PSA upper and lower I paid around $450 for and would bet my life on it.
