I just picked up an almost new 686-6. I have yet to shoot it but it only has a couple cylinders through it. It only passes the single action timing test on 2 chambers. Does this gun need a new hand being almost new? Can I just lightly polish the top left of the cylinder stop to improve on this...

In both metallic and production divisions the shooters hands can use the barricade but the firearm may not touch the barricade. The firearm may contact the barricade on recoil.

I say these is a market for speedloader pouches. What is out there is overpriced. I would really be interested in paddle pouches for speedloaders . Let us know.

In March I returned my 396 to S&W because of unreliable cylinder rotation. I got it back in about 3 weeks and that is now fixed. Since then I had one misfire with the Blazer loads and several with Magtech . I replaced the firing pin with the CS pin and now get 100% ignition.

Does Smith specify a range of bullet weights that can or can not be used in the models, 296 or 396? I know the scandium j frame guns had a particular range of bullet weights that could and could not be used ( although I can not remember them). Does anyone know? Thanks.
