In the basic revolver/auto class where you don't have "wings" on the firearm, are you allowed to touch the barricade with the firearm or only with your supporting/shooting hands? Also, CAN you support say a 6 inch K-38 barrel against the barricade -- if that's even allowed (because they seem to have changed that rule back-and-forth a few times in the last dozen years or so) without burning yourself out of the flashgap?

I'd appreciate it if someone could fill me in on this, and what the latest Bianchi/NRA ruling on the barricade shooting is. Thanks.

I havent shot there since the early 80's but used to keep up on the rules, but the NRA changes that stuff so often, the last I heard you could not touch the barricade with gun or hand in the production/stock gun events.
Best to go to the NRA website look under the competitions section and see what the current rules are for action pistol. Good luck

In both metallic and production divisions the shooters hands can use the barricade but the firearm may not touch the barricade. The firearm may contact the barricade on recoil.
