    Powder recommendations for handgun loading.

I have used IMR 700X for >20 yrs. and while it may not be the absolute Best powder for 9 or 45, it is an economic choice and seems to be available when more popular pistol powders are sold out. CAUTION though, 700-X is fast and as such is able to be double charged easily. Be careful and double...

Is This Load Data Worth 29.95?

Well I'm puzzled as to why you would ask then, odd I'll also state I have enjoyed LoadData as it goes along with my favorite Mens Magazine, Handloader Magazine. If you enjoy Ammo crafting as much or more than emptying cases via. spark then this is a wealth of articles and data. To each their...

The pin I believe you are referring to is called a stock pin, P/N 309000A I think this is correct, If not I'm sure someone will direct otherwise. Congrats on the 19-3! They are the perfect balance IMO, I still remember the day I bought my 1st Handgun, 19-3 4" it still looks 98%+ after more...

    Model28-2 HIGHWAY patrol

I bought my 6" Blue S2461xx in almost perfect condition (1 light 1/2" scratch on Bbl) in 09? $440.00 and giggled all the way home. Unfortunately it only had evidence of 3 chambers fired so it has seen less than 50rds. fired by me. I have a shooter 27-2 83/8" that I enjoy range time with though.

couple of questions about barrel porting or...

It would be cheaper to buy the lovely wife a used 9mm of midsize frame Quality porting will require holes properly placed in slide to match holes placed in barrel. None of the holes in the barrel or slide can be done with dremel drill press hand drill etc. If you attempt to do it yourself...

    Best powder for Dillon

HI SKOR 700-X WOW!!! This thread jumped back to life after a 15 month rest. I caught it at 3AM here after reading TSQUARED feelings on 800-X have not changed lol Anyway, I have used a RL-550B since the late 80's and fed pistol cartridges from .25ACP to .45ACP 700-X with good results...

For those that load 223 Rem/5.56 for semi autos

I try to clean(tumble), FL size, trim(forster), debur in/out, remove primer crimp(Forster), clean/cut primer cup and remove inside flash hole bur in lots of 1k or more 1 time as it is VERY labor intensive. The upside is I can then use the brass for bolt or AR and keep seperate with details...

Put in a bid on a Clunker

I like it! I'd if mine spend some time rubbin a HARD white ceramic stone across the bore end till it is all smooth and purty. Then have "Wait for Flash" applied in some way, like that GLyuck we see floating around the net. But either way I bet it's worth what ya paid and the conversation...

    Trimming 45 ACP brass

In 25+ yrs. of reloading .45 acp I have never found the need to trim them. I also do not trim 9mm or any "Special" cases(.38, .44 etc.) either. I am a reloading FREAK when it comes to rifle calibers and own several trimmers of different manufactures. Believe me if I thought for a moment that my...
