No, there are hundreds if not thousands of places online where you can find data. Also the powder and component companies put out manuals, etc. In addition, all of the gun magazines have data in their printed and online issues.
Absolutely not!!!!
There are plenty of solid sources for this info and there is no need to spend this much money.
If anything, buy a good reloading manual like the Lyman cast bullet book and get a whole lot more for your $$.
Well I'm puzzled as to why you would ask then, odd
I'll also state I have enjoyed LoadData as it goes along with my favorite Mens Magazine, Handloader Magazine. If you enjoy Ammo crafting as much or more than emptying cases via. spark then this is a wealth of articles and data.
I subscribed to it for about a year and found it to be of limited usefulness. It's a compilation of data available elsewhere. For someone with an up-to-date handloading library (including material from HANDLOADER magazine) it won't be of much use.
A friend of mine subscribed. He has been reloading as long as I have (over 45 years) and he disliked it.
He provided me with the information and I have found it useful.
YES I know the information is in my reloading manuals it is just easier to locate using the Loaddata site. I must have over 30 different reloading manuals some dating back to the 1950's and some of the most recent publishing.
If you're only looking for data for 1 or 2 calibers then it won't do much for you. I like it because I cast and load for all of my guns...including some that most folks don't cast for...like my .270. It also covers areas that most manuals don't, like small game loads for big bore rifles.
