I shoot a para p-16 in .40 for 3- gun matches that I need to make major. If they don't have a pf I shoot a 9mm. I could live with just a .45 and 9mm.

First, try a new mag. A new GI or a P-Mag. Use Good ammo,PMC, m193 etc. and have a little lube on the bolt. And I'm not being a ass but be sure you have the mag fully seated. If it still does not work give S&W a call. No need to start changing parts on a new AR.

Take a look at a 1 X 4 scope such as a Trijcon,Leupold, Burris, Weaver, and Nightforce to name a few. Save time and money and put it in a Larue scope mount. jmo

+1 on the shotgun. I would also add a couple box's of reduced recoil slugs. At 50yds I can put 3 in the "A"zone of a IPSC target in less than 3 seconds. They will put a hole in anything you want to put a hole in.

I have a square deal in .45ACP and a 550 that I use for 9mm,40 and .223. I would never go back to a single stage. If I could have only one it would be the 550. you can load anything from 9mm to 458 win.

After reading some of the post in this thread it's over. It's going to be easy to suspend the constitution to remove somebody else's rights. Now I understand how people would just stand and watch as Jews and Japanese were just loaded up and sent to camps.
