I think we're saying the same thing. I can't get thru one barrel of .357 out of any snub nose and I too have shot full house from a 340PD (ouch!!!). My point is, the OP should try it. It would answer his question in a hurry.
So I picked up this nifty speedloader pouch on eBay. It's a great design that easily clips onto any of my belts (dress belts or gun belts, it doesn't really matter). It's probably the most innovative speed strip pouch I've ever used. It is made to accept a 6 round .38/.357 Bianchi speedloader...
Small snubby .357's aren't for everyone. Or shall I say most people. I'd rent one and try to get thru a box of full house .357's. It's tough. And the muzzle flash is blinding.
It makes sense to carry the same gun all day every day. Familiarity and consistency are your friends under pressure. I say you are doing the right thing.
I carry only my 442 every day. No other gun. I used to have a rotation until one by one the guns got relegated to range toys - I got sick of...
I have been carrying for about 2 years and I've tried everything from Shields to Glocks to whathaveyou. I have settled for just a 442 that I've been carrying for many months now. No more rotations. Just one gun. Same gun each time. Everything else have become range toys.
Pocket carry primarily...
Oh boy. You're going down the slippery slope. You'll never be completely done. Unless you swear off guns completely (don't. Lol) this is a disease that will stick.

His interview is very self incriminating. No jury can look past his blasé accounts of how he deliberately ended two teenagers lives. And how he waited till the next day to report. He might as well turn himself in. He's toast.

Are we still talking about warning shots, Mo Trainin and dogs? Lol.
Time to shut this hijack down and get back to guns :)

Product: Model 43 C
Anyone own one or know those who have had enough hours with one?
I got rid of a few .22's over the past year to free up cash; with how .22 has dried up and most .22 semi autos are jam o matics, I gave up on them for awhile. But this pistol intrigues me because it looks and...
What S&W do you trust your life with at home and/or on the street? And why?
I have a Model 10 forever at ready for home use. Revolvers can be safe queens; fully loaded for decades, be brought into service by anyone in the family (any skill level) and still be effective.
On the street I find...
Educate me a little on wadcutters. Several here have mentioned them. I realize they're just flat projectiles... But how do they help?

Didn't mean to offend. And I'm somewhat surprised you took offense. I don't think you need to defend your decision to get trained. Be glad you are trained. I pray you'll never use it.
But there are a lot of people who can't afford the money or time to do so. And they too will very likely not...
Great advice! I'm still always learning and I like the idea of shooting an entire other gun after 1-2 cylinders. DAO revolver followed by a Glock will sure make the Glock feel like a hair trigger!
One of my anti flinch drills is to load only 1 or 2 live rounds per cylinder and the rest spent...
I have boot grips on my 340 right now. It's the most naturally pointing grips. I used to have the CT 305 but my pocketability suffered a little so I switched back. I will have to look into the Pachmayr Decelerator. I remembered my old LCR. The hogue grip on that made a nice difference.

I handload 158gr to fire at 600fps. Nothing earthmoving. I'm almost thinking I need to switch to 125gr projectiles to lessen the recoil impulse a little.
