Beauty. I flirted with one recently but ultimately passed. Bet it is a good shooter.

Yes, just from the last time I cleaned it, I removed them all and they are not back in place in the photo.

Of the 4 guns I posted, the 2 Competitors have a lighter DA pull. The RSRs are plenty smooth, but if asked which DA pull is better, I would say the Competitors. That is all I meant.

Have drooled over your scope only a few times. What a sleek beast that one is!

Thanks Don. I am lucky to have some traditional ones. I recently snagged a 1960 29 no dash that is a real daisy. They sure shoot well and are nicely different than the more classic S&W revolvers.

Some of my favorites here. (2) 44 and (2) 357. Preference for the Light Hunters; the balance is just amazing. Competitors have a slight advantage for double action pulls.

OK, the middle one goes on a different forum, but 2 out 3 ain't bad. 29 no dash and 29-2... hmmm, I love them.

**SOLD** WTS: S&W 586 no dash 6" nickel LNIB

I bought this beautiful revolver from fellow forum member saemetric almost 3 years ago. Here is the original selling description: "This is a 99% Model 586 no dash with M stamp from 1983. I’ve had this since I bought it new and fired it 6 times to check proper function, cleaned and into the...

    28-2, 6"

Congrats on that. I bought my 6" Highway Patrolman many years ago. I shoot it as well as any I own. Splendid revolver.

    Performance Center Master Hunter 629-4

So hard to choose one, but it is likely my favorite 44. Shown here next to a newer PC variant; I like the RSR more. And I shoot it damn well, which probably adds to the liking. I have never seen that scope only model, but it is a slick beast. I did watch a LNIB version like mine, but...

    29-2

Gotta give thanks to Bill and Lee for this gem. Easy transaction, outstanding revolver. Happy to be on board with an older blued S&W.

Can one of you experts help answer a Magnum Hunter question...

This exactly what I am looking for. Might need to post a WTB but won't hold my breath. A nice looking 7.5" 44 Magnum went last night on GB for $1260. I thought it would go higher, and I almost bid, but I like my 6" plenty. I have seen the 41 before; I would like to own the 357.
