Red dot for 4006 for 67 year old eyes?

Red dot--great for 63 year old eyes!--ask me how I know. Get an Ultradot Matchdot. I like the small 2 moa dot (they have 4 selections) It's smaller than the bull of an NRA B2 or B3 target, so if I'm having a bad day and shooing, say, low and left, I can actually aim top right and get it...

Red Dot Sight for PC Model 41

Ditto, Just get an UltraDot even though they are bit pricey, for a few reasons. I happen to have 2--an UltraDot MatchDot, 30mm with 4 dot sizes. I like the smallest 2mm dot. If I'm having a bad day and shooting, say, a tad low and left, I can actually aim a bit high and right at the bull to...

    PC Model 41

Saw one in Reno about 5 months ago. They had a price of $1525. There's a regular 41 at an LGS here in NH about 10 miles from me, been there about 6 weeks. They're asking $1,145 as I recall. I agree they seem to show up in batches.

    Photo's of 1958 41 w. Air Force cartouche

What means "adjustment at the bottom". Do you mean the trigger pull weight? FYI, other 41's I've owned and shot, and the manuals, seem to say the triggers minimum range is down to 2.75lb pull weight. This gun will go down to 2lb (NRA small bore minimum) or just a hair under, with a notch or...

    Photo's of 1958 41 w. Air Force cartouche

Rec'd my Letter yesterday and photo of it Hello again Everyone, I rec'd my letter yesterday from Roy Jinks--took a little over 4 months, about what I was told to expect. It appears my pistol was 1 of a group of 50 shipped to Offuit AFB in Bellevue, NE, rather than Lackland. Shipped on...

Who is the Mod 52 go to guy?

Agree with everything he says--a few more comments--I had a 52-2 for a few years--you might even find some old posts of me here. "No dash" was the earliest, then the 52-1 then the 52-2. The cartridge is called a "wadcutter" and guns that shoot them are often called "wad guns". completely flat...

41--witness mark on left side of barrel?

Brought my recently acquired 41 (made 1958) to the range tonight--practicing with iron sights and got to chatting with another guy who uses his as his preferred bullseye gun. He bought his new in the mid 1980's. He pointed out that both our guns have a small vertical line in the barrel, about...

    Model 41

I have nowhere near the M 41 experience of others here, but I'm on my second one now. CCI SV worked and works in both of mine. Advantages are; Burns clean, never any duds, relatively low cost, fairly accurate, fairly easy to find even in these times. Another plus is it's the preferred ammo in...

    Model 41 slide stop question

Or a yellow dry wall anchor, or a spent shell. The drywall anchors will even extract too.

    Found 2 new M 41's for sale

Not sure of proper etiquette here for posting, but this is not an auction either. I was travelling on business last week. Saw 2 new production 41's. Both new, a standard one in 7" barrel and a Performance Center. Asking might be a little steep at $1,400 and $1,650 respectively, but I can't...

    WTB--M 41 compensator, 1 9/16" long

Anybody have one of these for my 1958 model that they want to sell? It should be 1 9/16" long so I have been told on another post here. It will help me make the gun complete Thanks Steve

    How to dis-assemble 41 magazine

Seems like it should be so simple, but I'm stumped. I have two Model 41 mags, one vintage from 1958 and one brand new one. How do I get them apart? It seems as if I should push the follower down until the follower button is in line with the circular hole in the slot on the side, but the bottom...
