ZOMBIE THREAD!!!! It's fun to bring some of these back for historical perspective! Steel Jframes are harder to find now, at least in my area. I lucked into a 1969 Model 49 on an auction site for a good price. Some of them with all the papers and box are priced astronomically! Of course...

I dunno, this all seems pretty complicated. I think the simplest solution is to just stop paying taxes........

Interesting history on these and worth the read. The Model 76/760 is one of the coolest S&Ws ever made!

Take a look at Simply Rugged for their pocket holsters. One has a slot for two extra rounds. I carry an LCP in one and its very good. The holster stays properly oriented.

I love seeing HP's with Cokes. Those old warhorses deserve some fancy duds!

Four inch Model 28-2. It's long gone. Second one was a 6" 29-2. That one is also gone.

I have owned a number of Tauri and have had pretty fair luck with them. A couple needed some tuneup but ran fine after that. My only current one is that little 455 Tracker in the first pic. After my gunsmith squared up the forcing cone it's been dependable.

Vintage S&Ws are very hard to find around here. You scored nicely!
