    I have a 629-1 4" stainless without pin in barrel full target with rosewood grips sn:AYC55*5. Im trying to get year it was shipped or made for catalog of my personal guns Im putting together for my wife & daughter in case of my death.

    i called s&w to see if it had been sent back to be refinished and they had no record of either serial number. Whoever did the job, it's the best that I have ever seen factory or not. I was also curious of value or what it would cost to replicate.
