New to me 28-2 Snub Nose

I've seen two in the wild in 40 years of gun shows. Looks exactly like a Jovino! Great find!!

A 25-5 Shows Up at the Show Yesterday

From everything I can find the -9 was only made for a few months July-ish to December(?) in 1990. Another rare one from S&W. I kinda miss mine.

Holy Molly, a 28-2 With Cokes

Oooh, I got a gen 3 Glock 19 for only 850! Woo hoo! Wait a minute....

    Seecamp 32

Sold my .32 for a Ruger LCP in .380 and never regretted it. The Seecamp was beautifully made but way too finicky to count on in a pinch.

What Is Happening To Local Gun Shows?

Someone said they're entertainment. They were right. I go to see a few unusual things, a few things I've never seen etc. Bargains are, not nonexistent, but very, very rare.

    Another disappointing gun show

The good old days. Not quite like shopping 03s, Lugers, P38s and Enfields all stuffed in barrels for $50 or less, each. But really good times.

Late intro to the forum from East Tennessee

Working for my local sheriff's office, we took some "clients" to Brushy when it was still operational. Never heard a bus load of men get so quiet so quickly.

New to me 27-2 with 4 inch barrel

Have never seen a 4-inch in the wild. Very nice!

    Found a nice 27-2 with a 3.5" barrel

I've been lucky to see several of these over the years. Seeing this one reminds me that most of the ones I see are in very nice condition some complete with box and docs. Why, I wonder, are they all so nice? Maybe one day I'll bring one home as nice as this one.

    S&W 38/44 going prices

From what I've seen, they're a tough sell. And I won't get into converting to .44 Special.

    Glock has really shocked me!

I'll add the caveat - when left basically stock. Sights, lights etc are fine. When you go monkeying with the internals, you're seeking solutions to problems that don't exist.

    In Praise Of A Glock.

I remember reading several years ago Chuck Taylor had a 17 with, I think, north of 100k rounds.

This makes no sense does it? Model 28 Frankengun

Add the fees for conversion that I can only believe are punitive and the almost total lack of competent gunsmiths who aren't a year or two behind and you start to wonder "why even bother." One smith I talked to quoted 2300 as a start for a nice old heavy duty i had as a donor gun. I could buy a...

My 329 in a Galco IWB is joy to carry.
