    K38 Masterpiece info

Any idea what year the narrow rib K38 started losing popularity? I ask because I assume there were a lot more 5 screw heavy K38s made than the 5 screw narrow rib k38s. I haven't seen that many 5 screw narrow ribs around. Thanks.

    Factory letter

Does anyone have any idea what a Roy Jinx factory letter might be worth on the purchase of an excellent condition 1949 K22? A guy I know is selling the gun and the letter that goes with it. Thanks!

THE BEST 22LR RIFLE I HAVE EVER SHOT IN MY LIFE!

When my younger son was 20 he shot a 1.5" group with a 1935 vintage Winchester Model 67 (based on finger groove stock, butt plate and bolt) at 100 yards with the factory sights. When I was a teen I shot the same group with a brand new (man I was proud of that gun $60 out the door) Remington...

    Confiscated Firearms

I know a woman whose father brought home an ac41 P38 from WW2. She is a mega liberal and 30 years ago she turned it in to the police to be destroyed.

    Your least favorite S&W revolver

Had a model 27 pinned and recessed. Forget what dash it was. It was beautiful but for some reason it was not accurate at all with 38 semi wadcutters or anything else. Wasn't shaving lead either. Got rid of it in a hurry. Went back to my K38 tack driver.

Thanks for the info Muley. my grandfather drove late model Buicks in the 30s and 40s. Never asked my father which ones they were. Wish I had now.

    Car show and hot weather

Being a lower priced car I can see Pontiac waiting to 55 for a V8, Cant understand why Buick took till 53 to get one. Buick more conservative than Olds and Cadillac? Love those straight 8s too.
