!940 22/32 Kit Gun This will get the Blood Pumping

The new owner will probably re-finish the gun, put on some custom stocks and rig up a mounted scope on it!

    Hornady in Shield?

Thanks for the replies. I'm carrying Critical Defense. Have not tried the Speer Gold Dots, will have to pick up some. The Critical Duty question was generated by a post on another site wherein the gent said his groups shrank considerably with this ammo. I'd not heard of it nor seen it tested...

    My Shield.....

Capt Ron - NOW I know what you were referring to when you mentioned hand strength. So now I'm going to make your life a lot easier. Invest a small amount of money and buy an UpLULA, made by maglula LTD. I think I got mine from Midway but can't remember exactly. Anyway, I find ALL new...

    New 586 classic

I, too, am new to this forum, but I think I beat you by a month or so. I'm an old timer and I still think in terms of frame size, e.g. J, K, L, N. I realize the "L" isn't a true old time designation; actually it was the newest designation before I dropped out of handgun shooting for 2 decades...

    Shield 9 or 40?

Can anybody recommend a gunsmith in the Springfield MA area that can lower the ridiculous 10.5 lb trigger pull that's MA compliant? I bought a 9, with safety (wouldn't carry a gun without one) and love it but would definitely like a lighter trigger pull.

    Massachusetts compliant Shield?

My MASS Compliant 9mm shield, according to the sticker on the box has a 10.5 lb trigger. It's got a saferty as well (Any gun I carry I feel better with a safety)
